    Snow mode

Hi curious if you guys know if it's best to be in snow mode on highway or auto I know snow mode keeps advance Trac on but allows you to spin tires going straight but is there anything else going on is it best to just stay in auto so it won't even let you slide going straight?

I have the explorer as a rental so sorry no intro.
    Just a 18 black xlt

I have a Platinum with snow mode option on the spin dial...assuming it works the same with possible different engine. I’ve had mine in snow mode in snow and noticed the acceleration from a stop seems more sluggish to reduce spin. Upon highway speed, I have not noticed a difference in ride or gas mileage.

We had wet icy roads here in North Pole Alaska and was just curious i guess both modes would work almost as well when your already at speed both should keep you in straight line but was woundering if anyone had any more insight maybe an engineer

I would agree with that assessment when at speed.
