02 4.0 oil pan

I was replacing the timing chains and found pieces of metal in the oil pan. Does anyone recognize it. I’m assuming it’s part of a bearing.

Yes its a rod bearing
I strongly suggest you Don't continue with your project and head over to a specialist to take it further apart and inspect your entire engine for other damages if any.
