The temperature gauge is pinned hot even when I first cold start. Gauge goes from cold to hot instantly. When I pull the wire harness off of the temperature sensor, located on the thermostat housing, the gauge stays cold. Replaced the temperature sensor with no change in the result. I also have a electrical issue causing my car to feel like it has a transmission problem. The car has no codes stored for the temperature issue or for the electrical issue. There are no transmission faults listed in the computer. I replaced the engine with a rebuilt one after a head gasket issue. New throttle body and ignition wires. It's been a long year. Thanks for any ideas.
