I have a 2003 ford explorer 4 liter v6 with stock suspension. I wanted to know what's the biggest tires i can put on it? I've looked around but can't find a straight answer. I want to put on 305 70r16 on the stock wheels.

And would putting on two inch spaces Help?

Any Help is appreciated, thanks

I don't know what using spacers would allow but on the stock suspension and rims, the largest is 32x10.5, 265/75/16, or 265/70/17.

It's not just a clearance issue, also that you need at least 8" wide rims for 305/70's while your stock rims are only 7" wide.
