Hi All,
2013 Ford Explorer owner here. I recently backed into a pole and busted my passenger tail light. I need a whole new housing. From my research 2011-2015 are interchangeable (minding the lens color).
My issue is that some of the assemblies have "snap in reverse and turn signal bulbs" and others have "twist in reverse and signal bulbs". My car's bulb have the twist in style.
That said, my previous car had a similar thing, but the "snap in" version could have the snap in part twisted out and then "twist" in bulb could fit into it. Does anyone know if the 2011-2015 explorer has the same feature?
I'm under the assumption they are fully separate parts, but wanted to check before I pay the $40 premium for the twist in if the snap in would work.
Thanks!
