Have a 2011 Explorer xlt that leaks big water from passenger side seam inroof by rear gate. Fills up spare tire area fairly fast. Has anyone had this happen and how did you deal with it.
I don't recon Ford will do anything so thinking some sort of dealer.

I suffered from the same symptoms. At first, I removed the roof rail and re-waterproofed the screws that attach it. But it was a failure. Next, I filled in the cracks in the waterproof seal of the hinge part where the tailgate is attached and waterproofed the part where the washer fluid pipe came out of the car body. Then the water leak stopped. I used a black sealant. I don't recommend caulking agents.
