2013 Air Filter and Cabin Filter

Does anyone have any instructions are how to replace but Filters on a 2013 Explorer Limited? I see the 2 clicks that i must undo, but what about the wire on the outside of the box. Do i need to disconnect that before removing the housing?
Also, i went to remove/replace the inside Cabin Air Filter. I was able to remove one of the white pegs near the gear shifter. I am having problems removing the white peg near the door. Any Hints or ideas on how to remove it?
