2013 Limited Headlight Shutters

My wife has a 2013 Limited and I have noticed that the high beam shutter on the driver side takes about 30 seconds to close. I didn't realize at the time but in the winter it may very well get stuck on. I can't find much about this issue online but I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this problem. I'm trying to avoid buying a new headlight assembly but I have a feeling I'm going to have to. I really miss the separate high beam bulb and/or the dual filaments right about now.
