My wife's 2014 Explorer XLT started having issues with the radio not turning on. The display lights up on the Sync display unit and it will sometimes connect to her phone. The climate controls work fine on the touchscreen and the back up camera works fine. The radio shows as being turned off. I've seen videos of people replacing the fuse on the driver side under the steering wheel fix the issue, but that didn't work for me. I put a new fuse in, turned the car on, the radio came on and was playing music. I turned the car off, put all the pieces back together, turned the car back on and the radio was off again. Not sure what else to try.

Was the fuse blown? My daughter's Escape Sync2 did all sorts of weird things with the audio. It seems to be a trait.
