So I'm looking to downsize from my 2007 Expedition into a 2014 Explorer Sport. What was Ford thinking with middle seat in the middle row? The seat belt clips stick up out of the seat and are only about 7" apart, even for a kid its not comfortable, not to mention an adult. I'm thinking of looking at the Flex or the GMC Acadia, I wonder if they have the same problem? Anyone else finding a problem with the middle seat middle row seatbelts?

I have no issues with the middle seats at all.
I have a 16 year old daughter and a BIG 18 year old son.
I mean big as in he is 6 foot 2 inches!!
I am 6 foot 7 inches and even I can sit in the middle row.
I would not want to be there for a long trip but I do fit.

Middle Seat Worthless

You must not have the inflatable seat belts. My petite 12 year old cannot sit in the middle seat without getting indents in her body. It is a worthless seat.
