"Upgraded" from 2005 to 2015. Old 2005 had hinged flap on outside of vehicle to plug in the engine block heater. Easy peasy. The 2015 has the cord under the hood, up front, above the radiator, looped up and clipped to stay in place.
Have to open hood to plug in heater cord. Don't want to slam hood on extension cord or heater cord.
Has anyone found a way to reroute the cord to come out through the grille for the plug to be outside of the vehicle? Behind the grille is a plastic panel that seems to have no holes to get cord through.
Any ideas? or successful rerouting?
