Hi guys,

New to the forum but wondering if anyone has any suggestions to upgrade the factory high beams (Halogen) with LED that will be much brighter and match the color of the LED low beams that came factory installed? Looking for a cost-effective option and one that doesn't requite modifications to the housing or dust cap, if at all possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so miuch!

ummmmm.....I have a 14, halogen lamps (non-HID), and the Hi and Lo is the same bulb. It is always on one power and there is a built in 'flap' that opens to let the whole bulb shine for Hi Beam.

Thusly, you can just replace the single bulb with an LED. You need to make sure you know what the connection type is tho. There is not much room behind the housing while it is still in the truck, so good luck with that. (fyi, it is very easy to remove the bumper and then the head lamps, but I would recommend watching a Youtube to make sure you get all the screws)

my 2016 Platinum has white lower beam and yellowish high beam lights…

would like to have both matching color of light, so I plan to find a LED high beam light bulb that fits
