2020 ac whine/noise that changes with engine speed, 2.3 EcoBoost

We just purchased a 2020 Explorer with 33k miles recently from our local Ford dealer. Wifey just noticed the other day when the AC is on it kind of makes a lite whine that changes pitch with the engine speed. It’s only noticeable when the fan speed’s low. When it’s cranked up it’s not audible. Does this sound like an issue?

Anybody else experienced this? I doesn’t seem like an issue to me. If I had to guess why we hear it, it’s because it’s a 4 cylinder in a relatively good size vehicle vs a V6 and it’s powering a compressor and other things at the same time.
Probably the A/C fan or (less likely) the radio picking up the fan motor RFI.
I have the same model, and I experience whining noise between the speed of 76-82 MPH, not related to AC being ON or off.

Mines mostly driving around town and especially at slow parking lot speeds. Crankin the ac and radio go seems to “solve it”.

What does it being a 4 cylinder have to do with it? An AC whine is an AC whine no matter what motor it is. I have a 2021 Explorer and I don't hear any AC white. Any extra noise means friction somewhere.... but also could be the radio picking up interference. Especially AM radio. On the other hand, I only listen to XM radio. Have you tried turning off the radio all together and if so, does the whine go away or on FM or on XM?

Radio doesn’t seem to be where the sound’s coming from. I’ve turned it off and still hear it. Just sounds similar to RFI. The reason I reference it being the 4 cylinder is the load of the ac compressor affects a 4 cylinder greater than it would the larger engine at low engine speeds.
