4 inch display to 8 inch display conversion

Has anyone ever upgraded their 4” display to the 8”?

I have a 2018 Ford Explorer that has the 4inch display and I found a local guy selling parts on his 2016 Ford Explorer. I wasn’t sure if the 2016 8 inch display would be compatible in my 2018 Ford Explorer.

I know I would need the conversion wires/harness, but I just wanted to try to figure out if it would even work before I go through the trouble.
