4th generation access to o2 sensor wiring
2006 EB 2wd, 4.0L V6,
Looking for access to O2 wiring from pcm to sensors. I have some bare wires which are shorting out on bank 1 sensor 1, blowing fuse#42. I can reach the connector but the bare wires are further up. I can see them but not reach them to repair. Any ideas? It seems the earlier models had a transmission access panel that allowed access to them, located under the dash, but before pulling the ventilation system out under the dash in the middle wanted to check what anyone thinks would be a good option. Not sure if the access panel is under the dash in this generation. Running a new set of wires is a possibility but don't know where to start.
