Hi guys, bought a 93 explorer xlt yesterday. Drove fine in the test drive, and all the way home. This morning on the way to o'Reillys this morning to get plugs, fuel filter, and air filter, it just died on a flat road, now leaving me stranded. Wat are some of the most common problems associated with this model and its age? That might give me an idea of where to start looking for the problem. Thanks.

Well, start with the basics.

Fuel - Can you hear the fuel pump priming?
Spark - Pull a plug wire and see if it's arcing
Air - Doubt it's restricted to the point where it won't run but check the air filter.
