Howdy all

I posted this in another thread too. Wasn’t sure the appropriate place for it.
I have a 2017 4 cylinder twin turbo and found when I punch it and the RPMs climb my AC blower will drop out some and start blowing hot air. Anyone experience this? Once I let off and let the RPMs drop down the AC is normal again.

That's supposed to happen if you have the pedal to the floor. Every car does it, cuts power from the AC to help the motor.

See I get it cutting the AC for power but this is a substantial cut in AC power and diff in temp. I’ve driven my truck and Mercury Mariner since then and can’t duplicate it in those cars which is how I would expect it to be, sort of unnoticeable. I’ll just have to test drive one from the dealership to see if it’s the same.
