Another thread about not working heated/cooled front seats, in a 2016 Explorer

I have a 2016 Explorer Sport and the heated/cooled seats stopped working. I checked the easy stuff first, and then found this video on YT which is exactly this issue I have

Has anyone tried to bypass the burnt pin and run their own wire w/30 amp fuse to power? Would this work?
