I found out that I had a bad battery by testing the old one. was showing 6.5 volts. installed a new battery and after installing the car is showing warning lights on dash. parking brake light traction control, abs light. the adaptive cruise does not work as well as some other functions. all was fine before new battery no codes. took to dealer and they hooked up to the car with their reader. said that I should drive the car a few days and it should sort itself out. two days later and still the same issues. just checking to see if anyone else has had this issue and if so what was the fix?

Usually disconnecting then reconnecting the battery is the fix for an issue like this. Which is odd being that it's what got you there in the first place. I'd try it again just in case.
have done that three times. also tried disconnecting the neg terminal from battery and using a jumper wire to positive terminal and just neg cable to clear codes. no luck.

Well disconnect you battery. Both terminals. Hold the two terminals together for a couple min. This will reset the PCM. Reconnect the terminals to the battery. Start the motor and see if the lights are better. If so. Just drive it as normal. It takes about 50 start and stops for the PCM to fully relearn everything. Hope this helps.
