The vehicle: 2006 Explorer 4.0 4x4. The problem: Vehicle came in with belt noise, belt was shredded and upon further inspection harmonic balancer ring came apart from rubber. So nothing haven't seen before replaced harmonic balancer and belt and went to start nothing. Spins over just no start. The only difference is its a redesigned balancer with a toner ring for crank signal insted of the big metal pulley. Will this make any difference and has anyone run into this problem? It's starting to drive me crazy I've never had anything like this happen before and have been doing this for a long time. Especially on ford's I've always owned 1 or 2. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated
