I am looking for some information. Can anyone tell me if the 3.5 Ecoboost engine in a 2014 Explorer sport, (which sits sideways in the engine bay), could be attached to a 6r80 transmission. I want to install this engine into a 1960 Thunderbird. I have come across a low mileage 2014 Ecoboost 3.5 engine. But before I purchase the wrecked vehicle, I need to be sure it has motor mounts and all just like one that comes in the 2014 F150. I am not worried about wiring or installation because I will have the donor vehicle. Any and all information to help me with this build would be greatly appreciated. And also as this build proceeds I will keep you posted.
