I have a 2021 Explorer XLT 2.3l Turbo and was looking for a little better handling than the stock suspension. I noticed that the ST had a factory Strut Tower Brace which should help stiffen the front end.
I visited my local Ford dealer and got the part number for the 2020 ST Strut Tower Brace which is #L1MZ-16A200-A and costs $68. The mounting hardware is W709633-S439 screw with washer and is $7.50ea. So for a total of $97 I got the aluminum brace and bolts and washers to install it. When I installed it it fit perfectly and installed in a matter of minutes.
The Explorer has 5300 miles on it and after installing the strut tower brace I notice a noticeable feel in the steering and overall feel of the Explorer and very noticeable feel when taking sharp corners. For my less than $100 I think I've accomplished a much more enjoyable driving Explorer.
I have ordered a Steeda rear sway bar for the Explorer and will install it also expecting the Explorer to handle much better...we'll see.

My Ford part was just delivered today. Looks like it is pretty simple to install
Would that be correct?
Thanks
