I have a 2010 Explorer with the V-6 engine. I have had a problem with the fan clutch locking up intermittently. There are no codes and no signs of an overheating condition. The fan clutch has been replaced with an OEM part and the shop says it sounds worse than before. With the age of modern electronics, is it possible that there is a reflash that might fix the issue?

2010 fan clutch that needs returning? Just get an electronic fan with thermostat and be done with it. My 1996 is rocking one. With an eBay Chinese thermostatic controller.
