Hello all! I recently undertook a project to start converting all the chrome on my 2012 ford explorer to black. all is going well except the rear tailgate. I cannot for the life of me find a replacement part for the explorer lettering on the tailgate. I tried using the same finish tape I used on the lower door panel however it doesn't sit correctly in the letter spacing and just looks bad. Can someone point me in the direction of this part? In case I don't make sense, this is what I am looking for:

Thanks!

I too had a hard time finding this part in black. There are many confusing part number codes. I ended up sanding and painting it black.

But, if I were to try and find it again, I would search for the part number using the Sport version of the explorer. They are all black. But when I did that the first time, all I saw them call it was EBONY, which I didn't want to risk it being the really dark grey vs the black.

Here is what I put together and saved, but make sure to verify, don't take me for 100% certain:
Rear 'Explorer" Trim
BB5Z-13B482-AB (AA is old) - Chrome
BB5Z-13B482-AC - Black? (No camera, no "Interceptor", no "Sport")
DB5Z-13B482 CB (CA is old) - black? (w/PoliceInterceptor, No Camera)
EB5Z-13B482-BB - Ebony "Licence Plate Lamp"
BB = Explorer
EB = Sport
DB = Interceptor
