Replacing fuel pump in my 2005 XLS. The original had the four wire electrical connector molded in the top... no wiring coming out of the pump. The fluid connectors are horizontal. All the punps I am finding have have wiring coming out the top, 2 connectors (one round, one square). One pump I have found online that appears the same in pictures is the Bosch 67991. This is shown to be for Nissan cars though. Pic is of th etop of my existing pump... TIA.

For those that may follow... The replacement pumps do not have the molded in connector but rather a cable coming out the top with two connectors. The connector shown in my pic is part of a very short harness (about a foot long) that has the two mating connectors at each end. Toss the short harness and connect your new pump to the two connectors. Getting to one of them required a little more cutting of the floor. BTW the truck is still not fixed. It ran fine for about 30 miles with the new pump and then the same problems re-appeared. Replaced the fuel filter then, which was very clogged up (I know... I know, should have done that first) and still has the same problem.. runs at high rpm (foot on the pedal) for a minute or two then starts to run rough then stutters for a while, then dies. Any help out there?

UPDATE: So it really looks like I went down the proverbial rabbit hole on this one. The whole problem seems to have been caused by a general lack of maintenance. What really seems to have corrected the problem is cleaning of the mass airflow sensor and replacement of the air filter, which was in horrible shape. Depended on my "oil change" place for that.. wrong. Then changed original plug and wires (205K) and that got her running much nicer as well. Still getting P0401 code but that is all. New EGR on the way. I know, I know.. clean it.. but at this mileage I am once I have it out I'm not putting the old one back. So replacing the fuel pump was not needed... but glad to have it done as I plan on getting to 300K. Fuel filter... How dumb not to have changed that!!
