Hey there - any help on this is greatly appreciated!

I put the heat on the other day and it was blowing cold. This was while sitting in my driveway.

So I the reset the climate control by putting the ignition to the on position, hold climate power then hold defrost, let go, and press climate power twice. It did it's reset but the problem persists.

Today I noticed that the heat blows hot while driving but once I get to a light, or at idle in my driveway, it stops blowing hot.

Air blows on defrost, mid level, and on the feet and there is no issues transitioning from one position to the other it's just not hot unless I am moving.

AC works normally.

I read today that it may be low anti-freeze but I topped my anti-freeze in July before a road trip. I did a full tune and made sure all fluids were good. I do not have any leaks either or no funny smells like a busted heater core or any indication of an antifreeze leak.

I've read that it may be a blocked heater core...how does that happen?

Or it may be a bad passenger side blend actuator.

Any suggestions to diagnose this properly?

Please help! Going to be cold in NY

I wonder if the 'stat is stuck open. I've had that failure more than stuck closed.

Not sure how accessible they are. It may have air in the system. Let it idle, nose up until it gets to full temperature with the heat on full, coolant cap loose.
