I have a 15’ Explorer with around 39k miles on it with the 3.5 ecoboost, and have been noticing it has been idling high. What I mean by a high idle is that even after running it and it’s fully warm, it’ll settle in at around 1100-1300 rpm. Even when the A/C is turn off, it still sits high. I just got thrown a check engine light today and am wondering if y’all had any advice. I’m loathing having to take it in. Thank you.
