illuminated door sill color change

has anyone attempted to change out the stock sky blue color on the door sill plates?

I'm going to attempt to change mine here within the next few months and was wondering if anyone had any useful hints or tips on doing so

Once you take it apart,
The leds if so equipped, should be easily changed to the color of your choice.

Depends where Ford installed the voltage lowering resistors.
Most led operate on 3 to 4.5 volt dc polarity direction is important.
