I just recently purchased a 2021 XLT 4WD 2.3L Ecoboost I-4 Engine. I love the car but one thing just bugs me and I can't figure out why it does it. When I open the door before starting the engine it makes the clicks in the front. Almost as if the electronics are trying to "wake up" I lifted the front and looked at the engine and when it's lifted, the clicks do not happen. It will also make the clicks again once I get out of my car but before I lock the door. As if it's "going to sleep" the clicks are rhythmic as well. Not just a constant click click click.... It's click click (pause) click (pause) click click. Can anyone help? Is this normal? If so, what is it and WHY???
