2013 Explorer XLT, 3.5 L V6. I recently had both fuel pumps replaced and when I picked it up the Engine Service light was on with an OBD code for a downstream O2 sensor needing replacement.

I understand the fuel tank needs to be removed to service the fuel pumps. Could any of the required work for the fuel pump have cause damage or disruption to the Bank 2 downstream sensor?

highly unlikely I would think. Not exactly sure where the downstream O2 are, but shouldn't be that far back. FYI - I have a 2014 3.5L V6, about 185,000 miles and am getting the same downstream O2 error code.
