I have a 2018 Ford Exlporer 2018. I am going to start a few remodeling projects around my home. I just recently had the top rail repaired due to the recall. Any tips on hauling a sheet of plywood, or sheetrock (4' x 8'). I know the top rails are merely decorative, and do not even have tie downs. I will probably end up hauling in the back, at an angle, since the cargo space is not 4 foot wide. Than one would have to tie down the rear hatch so it is not bouncing up and down. Anyway, and tips that other s have used on haling large sheets of plywood, or sheetrock, would be appreciated.

Thanks so much

6x12 single axle trailer from sure-trac

I think it was right about 2k out the door with tax plates and papers, which would have been about the same as finding a used trailer fixing it up and handling all the paperwork with DMV in the middle of covid. I made some bed sides, added 6 tie down D rings, tongue box. I'd like to convert to 7 pin, electric jack, brakes. but it really is just fine as is. worth every penny, got so much out of it so far. regularly do 3000lb stone loads
