Rear speaker grilles on 2015 Explorer Limited

Does anyone know how to take these door panels or speaker grilles off the new Explorers?

My son unfortunately got ill in our new car and some of it ran down the speaker grille and even after I cleaned it up as best as I can, there's still a hint of the smell.

I'd like to thoroughly clean that part out.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I haven't tried taking mine apart but as with all doors, pop-out any plastic tad you see as usually there will be a screw behind it, once you do, then pull the pannel from the sides, it will have lock tabs to hold it, if that doesn't work, gently slide a pry bar or long screw driver in between the panel and the door and pry open. On rare occasions like in my F350, the door panel slides down then in, so also try pushing uo if you aren't getting anywhere by luppling and prying.

Remember to take all screws out, you do not want to break any of the plastic tabs, they are flimsy.
