Hello Everyone,

This is my first post as I just got my 2019 Explorer XLT last week. It came equipped with Remote Start and the function works fine, but my question comes with the climate control. In the settings for the remote start there are 2 options, Auto and Last Setting. When using both of those settings the car will start and the air will start to blow but it is only turning in the fan, there is no cold air blowing. When i get in the vehicle and press the brake and start butten, the air starts to blow cold. Is the the normal operation?

I called the dealership and no one can really give a straight answer. one guy said it will only bring the car to a comfortable temp, but I live in Florida, blowing hot air into a car that is already over 100 degrees is completely pointless.

So, My question is, when using remote start should the AC blow cold, or is it normal for just the fan to come on?

Thank you all in advance.
