Looks like I'll need to get running boards on my 2016 Sport. It's silver on black. Anyone have any recommendations or past good/bad experiences with them?

I think I'll avoid the round ones for starters. Price is a limitation but there's some wiggle room there.

Thanks ya'll!

I looked at a lot of running boards for my ‘18. Decided to go OEM. Many after market boards seem to be lower quality, potential for rusting or just did not look sturdy on the brackets.
Installed myself and still look great

Thanks Eco. I just upgraded from Sync 1 to Sync 3, replaced the stock, silver 18 inch wheels with black 20 inch wheels and tires. My next two upgrades will be a K&N air intake and Gibson Black Axle-back exhaust system.

Hey VACOP2, I'm Sailor Mike. I'm new to this site and a service-connected disabled Navy vet from Virginia but now reside in Indiana. Gather you're a Virginia law man or a VA (DVA) law man. Regardless, thank you for your service.

My Explorer is a bit taller than my Trailblazer and it's a bit more of a challenge getting in. Was thinking some running boards might do the trick but didn't want to pay premium $$$ just to find out they are more of a glamour item than a functional solution. Would appreciate a link and your thoughts. Thanks and enjoy your truck.

Regards,
Mike the Sailor
