So, I have read a lot of post. Looking at changing the shift solenoid.
Anyone else had some that when shifting from reverse to drive, or vice versa, had the motor struggle or even die? With occasional delayed shifts and quick hard shifts into the next gear?

So, had the transmission checked at AAMCO. Torque converter was dying. Was going to be $4-5k to replace. $3-4k for a used transmission. Due to the amount of rust underneath, just made the decision to trade her. Gonna miss it.

Just started having that happen with my 2019 Ford Interceptor Utility thank god i dont have to pay for it but your not alone....will reply with outcome
