I recently purchased a Sync3 to upgrade from my Sync2.
Installation was simple and accomplished in no time. Initially I thought it was great.
Problem is it isn’t programmed to my car. So I have no access to my HVAC controls or a few other things
I was sent the ForScan software, but have no idea how in the heck to change the programming.
I understand it can be done by someone else remotely, but not sure how to do that either.
Any help out there???

You should have a OBD to USB connector to connect your laptop & forscan s/w to the car.
If your google, you should find a few locations that will list out a recommended config file for use with your version of explorer. have a good day.
