New member here with a recent issue with my 2017 Explorer (purchased new) sync system. For the last three months the screen has been flipping between aps, from Home Screen to gps to other screens, then acts normally, no issues. Yesterday driving 50 miles into town it was crazy, on the way home is was perfectly normal.

I haven't done any software upgrades or resets yet, just throwing this out there to see if anyone else has this problem. I read about possible battery low voltage causing electronic issues, but not wanting to throw money at it, like spend $150 for a battery if I don't have to.

Thanks, LarryM

My 2015 went a little haywire for a time. Check to see if you have a secondary cable running off your positive terminal of your battery. That gave power to my interior dash lights and sync system. Mine was a little loose. Tightened it up...problem solved. Hope that helps for you.
