Thoughts, ideas, videos on replacing water pump on 2013 explorer 3.5L engine?

I know its an old thread and I don't see any replies, but I have the same make and model and I am contemplating this as well. I know its timing chain driven and it looks like a real pain. Every shop I've talked to wants at least 2 grand and the caveat it could cost more.

I saw a video on YouTube a guy did it on the Taurus, he removed the whole engine to ease access. I hope that isn't necessary. ��

YouTube video shows access through the wheel well. Not easy without a lift, but appears to be doable.
