My 2018 Explorer Platinum has digitized window etching on the windows it is 6 digits, no relation to the VIN. I cant anything on it. I was not charged for it and there is no documentation what is. As a guess, is it a deterrent to auto theft.

Any input?

They maybe serialized matching your VIN in Ford's database.
